»  (Apr 04 2009) - PORTERVILLE IS SET FOR A TEA PARTY ON APRIL 15

PORTERVILLE, CA -- On April 3rd the Post met with a few of Porterville’s April 15th TEA Party organizers and again in private on April 4th. Knowing that other towns and cities across America were organizing TEA parties as well, the Post needed a few more questions answered regarding this gathering.

One of the questions the Post asked Mr. Matt Cox was -- In the event that others wanted to attend but could not make it {for whatever reason}, are you planning additional meetings and assemblies after the April 15th TEA Party ?

“Yes we do plan to have additional meetings this year, maybe another sometime in June or July. So far we are in the beginning stages and we need to hear from others in the community if additional assemblies are in the offing.”

The Post was told that the TEA Party Committee were looking into having special speakers and possibly some other entertainment. As of this date, the Post isn’t sure if the permit they have includes food or drink booths, so make sure that you bring what you need for you and your family.
