Hello, I am Shawn Schwartzenberger. After graduating from Porterville High in 1981 I joined the Navy, served honorably with many "hats" accumulated during my 20+ years.
I learned early on, as a leader, to look at all sides of a problem and found it was better to reason with people than to battle constantly.
I am running for city council and hope to earn your vote!! I have no political agenda, nor do I have a business agenda. I am here strictly for the citizens of Porterville.
The reason I am running for council is I think that we need some new blood on the council, someone who does not have any business or political ties, just a plain person who has Porterville's best interest at heart.
I would like to be the cool head that gets things done for all of Porterville.
My motto simply put is "new face, new ideas". Although I will not have a huge campaign, I hope to get the word out to as many of you as possible.
I hope to get elected so I can make a difference for Porterville!
