Listed below are the names of the "7 NEW" Porterville City Council Candidates who submitted statements * to the Porterville Post. On April 19th 2012, all of these Candidates will be the guest speaker(s) for the Porterville Area Republican Assembly - PARA - to share more about their decision(s) to run for City Council. The meeting is located at La Fuente Mexican Restaurant on 29 North Main Street in Porterville and starts at 6 PM. NOTE : The Post decided - in early May - to only showcase the new city council candidates for the public and it was the candidates responsibility to submit their campaign info to the Post. Please understand, it's still your responsibility - the public - to do your own research and to get out and vote. So please attend all of the "Meet and Greets" and "Fun Raisers" that the candidates offer.
