My name is Robert Ybarra, Founder, Fathers Against Drunk Driving or FADD as we call it. Our mission is to reduce the alcohol related deaths on our U.S. Highways.
Presently we are gearing up for Recovery Month in September. Recovery Month is an annual nationwide campaign. This event is for those of us who work with individuals that have recovered from alcohol and other drugs. Every event is focused on bringing awareness and education to our local communities.
Our focus this year is going to be our Stay Alive, Don't Drink & Drive campaign. This will be our slogan for this special time of year.
FADD partners with the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). You may see the link on our website at www.faddintl.org. Please feel free to explore our site.
FADD is in the process of fund raisng for this very important event. We are looking for support from sponsors or donations. Our goal is to raise $15,000 for this event. FADD will be covering Tulare County. We need all the support we can get for this year.
