Clinton just won Ohio and Texas, Obama is fixing to go on the offensive, and McCain is parting at the White House. For some this is good media, for others, it's politics as usual, but for some American's it is the time of tough decision making. And decisions do not go without consequences and it is the consequences that we should fear the most. I heard an Elder once say that many times he was forced to make decisions upon someone else making decisions. My fellow Americans this is the time that the decisions we make will impact what happens tomorrow and what impact they will have on others. Anne Bellar and daughters Kateri and Kathy were a few of the customers at Porterville Pet Fair, Friday afternoon. Some were buying supplies and food for there pets, while others spent time admiring the different animals in the store. The Porterville Pet Fair is not new to Porterville as they have been around for quit some time. The difference being today is that the store is under new management and a new sense of excitement. New Store Manager Javier Barajas stated, “It’s taken me sometime to make the changes I saw fit for the store.” There is no doubt changes have taken place, for the store has increased its fish supply and looking to increase them in the near future. I might stir the pot a little or to some much, but I can't contain the fire in my soul. From my assessment of eight years of the Clintons in office I have observed these things. When running for president William J. Clinton ran supposedly for minorities and the poor. How funny that our leaders themselves separate between gender, race, culture and in this case financial status. While in the White House President Clinton performed sexual acts with you know who. In my belief not only was he disrespecting The Oval Office, his position as the president of The United States, the partner (when he lied about it), our First Lady (his wife), and women in general. The haze of torch smoke dancing through an overcast darkened sky. The fuzzy figures of the multitude of people. Who were these that were glaring, snarling or maybe fretting at Him? He envisioned this through His swollen blood shot eyes. All the while, He heard sounds of thunder and lightening. Chants of hate and persecution echoing His blood filled ears. The pain raged from His blistered, blackened soles. On up towards His dismantled shins. To the unbarring pressure within the thoracic cavity caused by broken ribs and weakened muscles. All the way up just below the crown of thorns on His head. He suffered…..He bled…..He died. Who was this man? Who would take much punishment for crimes He did not commit? A man whom scholars and theologians alike have attempted to minimize to a mere man. Man? Deity? The One True God? Let us examine these possibilities. Greetings Porterville and surrounding communities -- What a start to 2008. Presidential primaries, state budget reform,Target will close in February (Don't worry it opens again in the fall), Lowes will open mid-February, Holiday Inn Express is now open, and not too mention a new newspaper. Yes my friends, a new news paper. The Porterville Post is in its inaugural year. Like politics where reform is a common word used for change. The Porterville Post will be exactly that, a reform. Not that we don't need other sources of media to receive our news. But we the people of Porterville need a voice for our conservative values. This is what the Porterville Post will be. A voice for the conservative individual.
