On December 11, 2008, at approximately 8:15 a.m., officers from the Porterville Police Department responded to a residence in the 100 block of S. Leggett on a report of an armed robbery that had just taken place.
When officers arrived they contacted a 49 year old male victim who reported that he had been accosted by two suspects while outside of his residence. One suspect was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun and the other suspect was armed with a tire iron.
The two suspects demanded money from the victim and shortly after obtaining the victim’s wallet fled the area in the above described vehicle. The victim did not sustain any injuries during the incident.
The case is currently being investigated by Detectives from the Porterville Police Department’s General Investigations Unit. Anyone with any info regarding this incident is urged to contact
