On December 4, 2008, Officers with the Porterville Police Department were summoned to the apartment complex, located at 256 N. Main Street, regarding a vandalism report.
During the investigation, Officers discovered the interior walls and elevator of the apartment complex had been spray painted in numerous areas with red lettering.
A witness to the vandalism identified Tyler Beck and Matthew Spraggins as the perpetrators. Beck and Spraggins were located a short distance away from the scene and were subsequently apprehended.
During a search of their property incident to arrest, Officers located spray paint cans, which were used to vandalize the apartment complex. At the conclusion of the investigation, the suspects were booked into the custody of the Tulare County Sheriffs Department.
