On 11-28-08 a Porterville resident reported the theft of an air compressor from the 500 block of North Second Street to the Porterville Police Department.
The case was being actively investigated and on 12-02-08 at about 4:35 p.m., the victim re-contacted the Porterville Police Department and advised that he had located his air compressor at a residence in the 100 block of East Olive Avenue.
Officer Benas responded and continued the investigation, identifying Lanessa Goodlett, Paul Carter and Dennis Jones as being involved in the theft and sale of the stolen compressor.
The suspects were arrested without incident and booked into the Tulare County Jail.
The air compressor was recovered and returned to the victim.
