Statutory Rape of a 15 Year Old Minor

On October 29, 2009 Officers from the Porterville Police Department responded to a confidential address in Porterville to investigate an unlawful sex with a minor report.
The investigation revealed Kristopher Adam Zavala, age 19, had been having sexual relations with a 15 year old victim over the past two to three months.
When Zavala was contacted by Officers he admitted to having a sexual relationship with the victim knowing it was against the law.
Zavala was arrested and booked into the Tulare County Jail.
