On October 14, 2008 at about 7:00 a.m., detectives with the Tulare County Reduce Auto Theft Taskforce (TRATT), and the Porterville Police Department’s Special Investigation Unit (SIU) served a search warrant in the 1800 block of North Beverly Street.
During the search of the residence stolen vehicle components were located from a stolen vehicle reported to the Porterville Police Department. Paulino Herrera, 34 year of age, was arrested on charges of possession of stolen property and maintaining a chop-shop.
During the investigation, detectives responded to the 1000 block of West North Grand, where additional stolen vehicle components were located. Detectives also located approximately 12 grams of suspected methamphetamine, packaging materials, drug paraphernalia and scales.
Geronimo Bosquez, age 34, and Kimberly Burgins age 24, were arrested on charges of possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance for sales, conspiracy to distribute narcotics and outstanding arrest warrants. Detectives also located a firearm and found that Geronimo Bosquez was a convicted felon.
All suspects were arrested and transported and booked at the Tulare County Jail. This case is still under investigation.
