Officer Martinez conducted a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle at Mathew Street and Henderson Avenue.
During the contact, Jessica Mendoza was found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine.
The driver, Ronald Riggins, was also in possession of a digital scale, several glass pipes, and suspected stolen, fraudulent checks and several identification cards.
Officer Martinez did follow-up investigation and determined one of the checks was stolen.
Mendoza was booked for possession of narcotics and Riggins was booked for possession of stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Mr. Riggins was also out on bail for another case he has pending in Court.
