On October 5, 2008 at approximately 4:30 p.m. Officer Kirk responded to Wal Mart, 1250 W. Henderson Avenue, Porterville, regarding a disturbance.
Officer Kirk contacted a confidential victim at the scene.
The victim reported she was confronted by Venesa Joven. The victim said she was assaulted by Ms. Joven. The victim said Ms. Joven threatened her life during the assault.
The victim said Ms. Joven left the area before officers arrived. The victim said as Ms. Joven was leaving, she vandalized her vehicle causing moderate damage.
At approximately 8:00 p.m., Officer Painter located Ms. Joven in the 700 block of West Henderson Avenue.
Ms. Joven was arrested and later booked into Bob Wiley Detention Facility on the above charges.
