Officer Miller responded to the 600 block of East Isham Avenue regarding subjects possibly trespassing in an empty apartment.
As he was checking the parking lot a subject fled on foot over several fences but was apprehended in a nearby backyard.
The suspect was identified as a Hispanic male, 15yrs, and is a previously identified gang member.
Upon the suspects arrest he began yelling gang slurs and cursing at the officer and nearby citizens.
While the suspect was being transported to the police station he made death threats to other officers.
The suspect continued to remain belligerent and had to be restrained when he started spitting on officers. The suspect was ultimately transported to the Juvenile Hall where he was booked on the listed charges.
