At about 2:37 p.m., Officer Sam Garcia was dispatched to the area of Larson Street and Thurman Avenue regarding a fight.
Upon arrival the victim, Thomas Garcia, reported he was approached by a group of southern gang members.
One of the subjects threatened the victim and later threw a brick through the windshield of his truck.
The subjects fled the area in a red Cadillac and were located by CSO Ben Mendoza a short time later in the area of Main Street and Reid Avenue.
Officers responded and detained all occupants of the vehicle without incident. One of the passengers, Eddie Villegas, was positively identified as the suspect responsible for the vandalism. He was arrested and booked.
The remaining occupants were interviewed, photographed and released.
