On September 2, 2008 at approximately 11:17 p.m. Officer Aguilar was dispatched to Food 4 Less regarding a theft.
Investigation revealed that James Davis and an unidentified female conspired together to enter the business to steal merchandise.
Mr. Davis entered the business while the unidentified female waited outside in the vehicle.
Mr. Davis exited the business without paying for the merchandise in his possession and entered the vehicle.
Store employees were able to contact Mr. Davis before the vehicle left. Mr. Davis exited the vehicle and the unidentified female drove off with the stolen merchandise. Mr. Davis was detained by store employees until Officer Aguilar arrived.
Mr. Davis was transported to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department Porterville Sub-Station for housing on charges of Commercial Burglary, and Conspiracy to Commit Burglary.
