Porterville Police Officer J. Gong responded to Save Mart at 50 West Olive Avenue regarding subjects attempting to cash a stolen money order in the amount of $1,000.00.
Officer Gong arrived and contacted Joshua Thomas and Aaron Orosco.
During the investigation, it was determined that Aaron Orosco stole the money order and forged the order to be payable to Joshua Thomas. They then conspired to attempt to cash the stolen, forged money order at Save Mart.
Both Orosco and Thomas were arrested and booked at The Tulare County Sheriff’s Department for Forgery, Possession of Stolen Property, Conspiracy, and Burglary.
Joshua Thomas was also on active California Department of Corrections Parole and a Parole Hold was authorized by his Parole Agent.
