On August 8, 2008, investigators from the Tulare County Reduce Auto Theft Taskforce, detectives from the Porterville Police Department Special Investigations Unit, and officers from the Tulare County Probation Department conducted a series of probation searches in the Porterville area.
The searches targeted multiple locations of convicted offenders who are currently on probation for various offenses. As a result of these searches three felony arrests were made.
Alejandro Sanchez, a convicted felon, was found to be in possession of a .45 caliber handgun. The handgun was seized and Mr. Sanchez was booked with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department for being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
Jessica Carrillo was found to be in possession of packaged marijuana and other drug related paraphernalia. She was booked with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department for possessing marijuana with the intent to sell, along with several misdemeanor warrants.
A 17 year old male juvenile was arrested on an active felony warrant for possession of stolen property.
