On June 7, 2008, at approximately 10 p.m., a Porterville resident returned to her residence and discovered that unknown subjects had broken into her residence and had taken various items of property.
Since that time this case has been investigated by Porterville Police Detective Mark Lightfoot, from the Department’s General Investigations Unit.
On August 6, 2008, Detective Lightfoot identified Izequiel Cardenas, age 23 as a suspect and contacted him at his residence.
Mr. Cardenas was taken into custody and subsequently booked with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department on charges of burglary.
The case remains under investigation.
