On July 31, 2008, at approximately 7:00 a.m., a Porterville resident - Margarito Gamboa, age 29 - discovered unknown subjects had entered her residence and had taken various items of property.
Since that time this case has been investigated by Porterville Police Detective Rick Carrillo, from the Department’s General Investigations Unit.
On August 6, 2008, Detective Carrillo identified Margarito Gamboa as a suspect in the original burglary as well as a second residential burglary.
Mr. Gamboa was already incarcerated at the Tulare County Main Jail on an unrelated matter. As a result of the investigation conducted by Detective Carrillo, Mr. Gamboa now faces additional charges of possession of stolen property.
