by Sgt Mike Blaine - Porterville Police Dept :
On Sunday, July 6, 2008, the Porterville Police Department received a call that a theft had just occurred at the Music Trend store, 1122 West Henderson Avenue.
Just prior to receiving the report, Officer James Gong had made a traffic stop on a motorcyclist for not wearing a helmet on Prospect Street, just north of Henderson Avenue.
