On Sunday, July 6, 2008, Porterville Police Department received a call of a domestic dispute in the apartment complex located in the 1500 block North Prospect Street.
Officers arrived and met with both involved parties and found the victim suffering from a minor injury to the face.
The victim said he and his estranged wife became involved in a verbal dispute and the suspect struck him in the face, causing the injury.
The suspect in this case did admit to striking the victim out of anger.
The suspect was arrested and booked on a charge of domestic violence and transported to the Bob Wiley jail facility.
