On June 10, 2008, at 8:00 PM, Porterville Police Department’s Special Investigations Unit assisted the Southern Tri-County High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area unit in the service of a narcotic search warrant at 215 South Kessing Street in the City of Porterville.
During the service of the search warrant detectives located approximately 1350 grams (three pounds) of suspected crystal methamphetamine with a street value of $30,000, scales and packaging material.
Detectives also located evidence indicating the suspects were conspiring to distribute crystal methamphetamine in the City of Porterville.
The above suspects were arrested and were booked for possession, transportation and distribution of suspected crystal methamphetamine, maintaining a residence where illegal narcotics were being sold, selling a controlled substance within 1000’ of Porterville High School and conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.
Both Adrian Sanchez and Francisco Sanchez were booked at the Tulare County Main Jail and are being held in lieu of a 150,000 bail.
