Porterville PD picked up sexual battery suspect

On February 17, 2008, officers of the Porterville Police Department responded to a residence within the city of Porterville on a report of an intruder. An unidentified male had entered the residence and assaulted the homeowner/victim. After assaulting the victim the suspect fled the residence.
The Porterville Police Department General Investigations Unit has been investigating this case since its occurrence. Through the course of this investigation evidence was obtained which identified Aaron Gibson as the suspect.
On March 25, 2008, at approximately 8:30 a.m. detectives took Gibson into custody at a residence within the city limits. He was subsequently booked with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Department on charges of burglary and sexual assault.
