On Sunday, March 1st 2009, at approximately 11:20 a.m. Officer Miller was dispatched to a retail business in the 100 block of South Main Street regarding a theft.
Veronica Moisa entered the business and distracted the manager in order to steal merchandise. Once Ms. Moisa left and the theft was realized the store manager began looking for her.
The manager was able to locate Ms. Moisa a short time later. Officer Miller arrived and detained Ms. Moisa, who was found to be on active California Department of Corrections Parole for similar crime.
It was further determined Ms. Moisa had entered the business with no cash and the intent to steal. Moisa was arrested without incident and a Parole Hold was issued.
Ms. Moisa was transported to the Tulare County Bob Wiley Detention Center for housing on charges of 459 PC-Burglary and 3056 PC-Parole Violation.
