On Sunday, February 22, 2009, at 9:14 a.m. Officer Aguilar was dispatched to a confidential location in the city of Porterville regarding a disturbance.
Upon arrival the victim told Officer Aguilar her boyfriend, Rogelio Astorga, became angry and struck her, causing minor visible injury to her face.
Mr. Astorga was contacted at the scene and arrested without incident.
Mr. Astorga was transported to the Tulare County Sheriffs Department Main Jail for housing on a charge of 273.5 PC-Domestic Battery.
