On Friday, February 20, 2009, at approximately 9:36 hours, Officer Miller was dispatched to a vehicle burglary in the 1500 block of West Tomah. Various tools and personal items were taken. During the investigation Officer Miller identified a possible suspect.
Officer Miller went to a nearby residence and located most of the stolen property, but the juvenile suspect wasn’t there. Officer Miller continued to look for the juvenile suspect.
On Sunday, February 22, 2009, at approximately 0900 hours, Officer Miller, with assistance from the Tulare County Sheriffs Department, was able to locate the juvenile suspect in the Terra Bella area. The juvenile suspect was arrested and transported to the Porterville Police Department for booking.
The juvenile suspect was transported to the Juvenile Detention Facility for housing on charges of 459 PC-Burglary and 496 PC-Possession of Stolen Property.
