On Friday, February 13, 2009, at approximately 3:41p.m., Carmen Moreno and Doraelia Martinez were detained in a local department store for theft.
Investigation revealed Ms. Moreno and Ms. Martinez conspired together to enter the business to steal merchandise.
They entered the business, selected items, and left the business without paying for them. They were contacted outside by store security, who placed them under Citizen’s Arrest.
Ms. Moreno and Ms. Martinez were arrested and transported to the Porterville Police Department for booking.
They were later transported to the Tulare County Bob Wiley Detention facility for housing on charges of 459 PC-Burglary and 182 PC-Conspiracy to Commit Burglary.
