On Thursday, January 22, 2009, at approximately 3:03 p.m. Officer Miller was dispatched to an address in the 700 block of South Roche regarding a residential burglary.
The victim said some cash and a microwave were taken. The victim’s ex-girlfriend, Maria Duran, was suspected due to witness statements.
On Saturday, January 24, 2009, at approximately 10:15 a.m. Officer Miller located Ms. Duran and placed her under arrest without incident. The property was not recovered.
Ms. Duran was transported to the Porterville Police Department for booking. Due to extenuating circumstances Ms. Duran was later cited and released with a court date.
This report will be forwarded to the Tulare County District Attorney’s office for a charge of 459 PC-Burglary, against Ms. Duran.
