On Sunday, January 11, 2009, at 10:22 a.m. Officer Miller was dispatched to a confidential location in the city of Porterville regarding a disturbance.
Upon arrival the victim told Officer Miller her husband, Oscar Camacho, struck her and their 2 year old son, causing minor visible injury to both subjects.
Mr. Camacho left prior to police arrival and was not initially located.
Officer Miller’s continued efforts to locate Mr. Camacho throughout the shift and located him at about 6:10 p.m. at which time Mr. Camacho was arrested without incident.
Mr. Camacho was transported to the Tulare County Sheriffs Department, Porterville Sub-Station, for housing on charges of Domestic Battery; and Corporal Injury to a Child.
