Dear editor,
Yesterday, the Richmond Tea Party announced that the group is being audited by the city of Richmond. This audit "coincidentally" came after the Richmond Tea Party challenged the city for its double standard in favor of the Occupation.
It turns out Occupy Richmond didn't have to pay anything for permits or portable bathrooms or police protection, while the Richmond Tea Party paid $8,500 for such services. So the Richmond Tea Party sent the city a request for a refund.
Now, Richmond is auditing the Tea Party!
This is just the latest of many attacks this year against the Tea Party. The goal is clear: undermine the movement and neutralize their impact in 2012.
