Dear Editor, Many Tea Party members and supporters consider Rick Perry as just one of the Republican candidates. Unfortunately, that is a very dangerous assumption considering the fact that the U.S. is floundering on so many fronts, and the general feeling is it is not happening by accident. And they are right. This (Rick Perry's) "candidate's baggage" is INTERNATIONAL in scope.
In 1994 the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) was passed as just a trade treaty, but it is much more. It's an umbrella agreement that set in motion a gradual merger of Canada, U.S .and Mexico where we would lose our sovereignty and our constitution, just like the European Union.
In January of 2002, then Governor Perry launched the Trans Texas Corridor (or NAFTA super highway) in Texas, which was to be the first physical transportation link of the new union. This corridor was planned to go north /.south from Winnipeg, Canada, to Lazaro Cardenas, Mexico. The first section was started in Texas. The land was to be acquired by eminent domain, and would take a strip 1200 feet wide to accommodate the 2 railways, 2 freeways, oil pipes, natural gas pipes, power lines and communication lines as planned.
About the time the people of Texas rose up to stop the Trans Texas Corridor, Governor Perry 'got out of town'. He flew to Istanbul, Turkey to speak at the super-secret Bilderberg Conference. It's hard to remember the last time an elected president of either party did not speak to the Bilderberg Conference and or the Council on Foreign Relations before being elected. Please check him out for yourself.
In 2005 President Bush, Mexico's Vicente Fox and Canada's Prime Minister Martin launched the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP). This is the diplomatic step of the merger.
The important thing here is Governor Perry is trying to stow away on the Tea Party wagon. The national news media is acting as an accomplice, attempting to insert Perry as the Tea Party candidate. How successful will WE be in the future if Perry becomes president and takes us down the same road as Obama, just at a slower speed!
Remember the Tea Party's first tenet is; constitutionally limited government.
Perry fails that one big time!
