Dear Editor, Here is a letter I sent to Ms. Donna Hefner, Chief Administrator of Sierra View Medical Center on September 15th 2022.
Good morning, Donna! I recently had carpal tunnel release surgery at SVMC and want to give a high 5 to the entire staff that was involved in my procedure.
There is a board on the wall at the end of the bed in the pre-op room that has a question in the lower left corner that says something to the effect of, “what one thing would make your experience here excellent?”
As I thought about that, I honestly couldn’t come up with just one thing. As a matter of fact, EVERYTHING was excellent from start to finish – from the call setting up the registration to the follow-up call post-surgery and everything in between.
I was amazed at the number of people involved in my minor surgical procedure. Everyone I encountered and interacted with was professional but personable. I was able to talk easily with and even laugh with everyone.
SVMC is my hospital of choice and I highly recommend it to anyone needing hospital services!
