TULARE, CA -- 15,000 Americans from all over the central valley showed up for the Tea Party at Tulare’s International Ag Center. Bands played as booths stood by with food, fun and facts … about America and the heritage our founding fathers left for the people – not the government. As usual for the Post, we wanted to cover the event with pictures, not so much with words … enjoy.
Coordinating this year’s event was the Central Valley Tea Party folks based out of Fresno. Additional groups came together to pull this off and they accomplished a great deed. This year’s event, the Post was told, was only one of 600 scheduled Tea Parties being held across the nation.
Mike Conners who MC’ed the Freedom Rally Tea Party took center stage again and introduced the special speakers, which included Pastor Jim Franklin from the Cornerstone’s Church in Fresno, Dr. Harold Pease, Ben Berquam, Mike Ratley, William Owens and Steve Bradau.
