THE RIGHT WORD - with Brother Scott
What Jesus said in (Luke 21:25-28) and things spoken about in other places is why we are addressing the many controversial things we began talking about in part one.

Things are going to be seen with the eyes, events will happen that will be so astounding that some won’t believe their eyes, and situations will happen without any warning that are so life-threatening and shocking that some will literally be scared to death.

Listen :

This series of teachings are to inform you about those things that can terrify the unprepared—and 99% will be! But if you know about these things ahead of time, even if you find these things hard to believe now, when they come to pass you can (by your foreknowledge and your faith in God) only be temporarily surprised but not be terrified as others will be.
( )
† Luke 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.

As the old adage goes: “To be forewarned is to be forearmed!
( )
† Deuteronomy 20:1 When thou goest out to battle against thine enemies, and seest horses, and chariots, and a people more than thou, be not afraid of them: for the LORD thy God is with thee, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt. 2 And it shall be, when ye are come nigh unto the battle, that the priest shall approach and speak unto the people, 3 And shall say unto them, Hear, O Israel, ye approach this day unto battle against your enemies: let not your hearts faint, fear not, and do not tremble, neither be ye terrified because of them; 4 For the LORD your God is he that goeth with you, to fight for you against your enemies, to save you.

† Philippians 1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel; 28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

Terrified: To be driven into a state of extreme fear; to be so scared that you can hardly move or make a sound. [A person can become terrified in 2 ways: by an actual event or it becomes one’s state of mind by profound worrying about what might happen or is about to happen.]
Angels can walk among us (and do) and we usually will not know it—both God’s holy angels as well as fallen angels, those angels that rebelled with Lucifer ha Satan and were exiled from Heaven. Some examples from the Word that give us understanding are these:
( )
† Genesis 18:1 And the LORD appeared unto him [Abraham] in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the day; 2 And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him [the pre-incarnate Son of God and two angels]: and when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground…[and was hospitable]

† Hebrews 13:1 Let brotherly love continue. 2 Be not forgetful to entertain (be hospitable) strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares (unwittingly).

† 2 Corinthians 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming (disguising, transfiguring) themselves into the apostles of Christ. 14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light (shining angel). 15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works. [All believers should know and use these following critical phrases declared by the Apostles Paul and John when in doubt about the authenticity of others, ask them to confess these things:]

† 1 Corinthians 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. (Philippians 2:11Jesus Christ is Lord.)

† 1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world. 2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God: 3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. 4 Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.

As I briefly mentioned in part 1, no matter what others say, angels cannot be killed—but the bad ones (the fallen angels) can be resisted, thwarted in their efforts, and driven away by our God-given faith in and use of the Name of Jesus, and by declaring the power of the shed blood of Christ against them.

Believers in these last days need to know this and to also understand that each one of us, no matter our spiritual age or experience, have what we need to withstand those entities by the Holy Ghost within and by our faith in God and His Word. What does the Word say about this?

( )
† James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist (stand against, oppose) the devil, and he will flee from you.

† 1 Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

† 2 Corinthians 2:10 To whom ye forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; 11 Lest Satan should get an advantage (gain ground against us) of us: for we are not ignorant (uninformed) of his devices (purposes [plans against us]).

† Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. 11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles (Gr. methodeia: travelling over, methods [i.e. “when he tries to walk all over you”]) of the devil. [And know that speaking the Word during any level of spiritual trial has power!]

† Luke 4: [Pay attention to what Jesus did and teaches us:] 1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness, 2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. . . 3 And the devil said unto him, If . . . 4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written. . . 6 And the devil said unto him. . . 7 If. . . 8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written. . . 9 . . . and [the devil] said unto him, If . . . 12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. 13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation [having been unsuccessful], he departed from him for a season.

Now we are going to come back to the issue of fallen angels and how they are going to openly (in physical form) deceive the populations of the world soon but in these next few minutes we will talk some about the fallen angels foot-soldiers known as demons.
Consider the fallen angels as the officers in the various ranks needed in a military force († Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.) and the demons as the enlisted ranks doing most of the on-the-ground fighting and killing († John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy...).
Fallen angels are not demons and demons are not fallen angels although the vast armies of demons do have military-type ranks of their own. There are weaker ones and stronger ones but all are subject to the Name of Jesus having also been completely defeated by the Lord at the cross and by His shed blood.
( )
† Colossians 2:15 And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

† Acts 16:16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying: 17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation. 18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

† Matthew 12:43 When the unclean (demonic, foul) spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest, and findeth none. 44 Then he saith, I will return into my house [the “man”] from whence I came out; and when he is come, he findeth it empty [vacant of anything to keep it out], swept, and garnished (put in order). 45 Then goeth he, and taketh with himself seven other spirits more wicked (hurtful, evil, degenerate, vicious, lewd) than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first...

† Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; 18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

If demons are not fallen angels then where did they come from? Our present King James Version Bible does not tell us but another set of writings that were at least commonly read by the Jews and even quoted once for sure in our present KJV New Testament with possible other references as well does tell us; that “another set of writings” is known as The Book of Enoch.
( )
† Jude 1:14 [Jude, the half brother of the Lord Jesus, wrote this:] And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, “Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, 15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.” [Now if Jesus’ brother knew of these things then Jesus did also. According to what some that have studied the Book of Enoch say, other statements made by Jesus Himself reflect things that parallel what are written in the Book of Enoch:]

† Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth...

† Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel...

† Luke 6:24 But woe unto you that are rich! for ye have received your consolation...

† Luke 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence...

† John 12:36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light.

Now although the Book of Enoch is not part of our Bible, its contents were read and studied and considered worthwhile to be familiar with by different Jewish and non-Jewish groups from before Jesus and afterwards as well.

According to some historians, that book was also provided as an included side publication along with the original KJV Bible to be a study reference to things contained in that 1611 Authorized 66-book version of our present Bible.

It is in the Book of Enoch especially (but the issue is also mentioned in the ancient Book of Giants and the Book of Jubilees) that we can understand where demons came from (aka: unclean spirits, evil spirits, foul spirits). From those sources it is revealed that demons spirits are the spirits of dead giants.

From the Book of Enoch 15:8-10. Now the giants, who have been born of spirit and of flesh, shall be called upon earth evil spirits, and on earth shall be their habitation. Evil spirits shall proceed from their flesh, because they were created from above; from the holy Watchers was their beginning and primary foundation. Evil spirits shall they be upon earth, and the spirits of the wicked shall they be called. The habitation of the spirits of heaven shall be in heaven; but upon earth shall be the habitation of terrestrial spirits, who are born on earth. 9. The spirits of the giants shall be like clouds, which shall oppress, corrupt, fall, contend, and bruise upon earth. 10. They shall cause lamentation. No food shall they eat; and they shall be thirsty…
If these things are true, and I believe they are, is it then any wonder how that many persons that have a demon or demons are so supernaturally strong? Is that what Jesus was helping us to understand about evil spirits—that they are the disembodied spirits of dead giants when he referred to a “strong man that lives in a house but can be overpowered and thrown out?”
( )
† Matthew 12:22 Then was brought unto him one possessed with a devil, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spake and saw. 23 And all the people were amazed, and said, Is not this the son of David? 24 But when the Pharisees heard it, they said, This fellow doth not cast out devils, but by Beelzebub the prince of the devils. 25 And Jesus knew their thoughts, and said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand: 26 And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? 27 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your children cast them out? therefore they shall be your judges. 28 But if I cast out devils by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God is come unto you. 29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house [a human’s body or soul that an unclean spirit(s) has made a home of], and spoil (take by force, plunder) his goods, except he first bind the strong man [by the authority of Jesus’ Name]? and then he will spoil his house [set the man or woman free]. [This involves bold and very strong spiritual actions!]

† Matthew 11:11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he. 12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force [i.e. spiritual warfare].

We began this part two reading the passage where Jesus said that at some point during these last days “Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken” (agitated, rocked, toppled, even destroyed).

Was Jesus referring to the powers of heaven that are natural in our solar system and galaxy and the universe and—or the powers of heaven that are spiritual powers, such as we have begun to discuss?

As you continue to listen through this series you will gather a good understanding of what these kinds of things to come are about, which will help your mind and your heart to remain calm and not be terrified.
