The class on which I’ve been slaving has become snarled in my
recalcitrant computer, including my intended Christmas message. So,
hope you had a merry one and have a Happy New Year!!!

COVER, SEATS!!!
Recently, I heard a story on KNZR, out of Bakersfield, Ca. about a
bizarre situation, in which the ufw seems to be attempting to extort
money from Gerawan Farms and their employees. I have been unable to do
much research, because of our glitchy computer, so I invite you Troops
to (as always) do the research and decide for yourselves. If you find
me right, please do all you can to support the Gerawans and their
employees. If I’m wrong plz help me out & I’ll correct my impression.
The story is that ufw (A.K.A. united farm workers, A.K.A.
un-legitimate fraudulent weasels, you see I had heard some
well-documented reports of strong-arm tactics) is attempting to
re-activate their hold on some farmworkers whom they abandoned, some
years ago, because they could not do anything , legitimately, to
justify collecting dues from them. Kudos to the former union bosses,
if they did back off.
Anyway, the state seems to have abandoned the principle of “blind
justice” in favor of a view more slanted toward the union people who
keep the dim-o-cr-ASS-ic regimes in power. Can you say pay-off?
I knew you could.
Now, I’m not making accusations, here, but when the state (allegedly)
dictates the terms of a private contract and (seemingly) withholds and
(seemingly) refuses to count the ballots that might decertify a union
entity that (in all likely hood) supports the regime in power, does
that indicate, Forsooth!!! Something stinketh in the (socialist
republik) state of kalifornia? As Arsenio Hall so famously opined,
“Hmmmmm!!!”
I’m, ALSO, not saying that all of the “nanny state” actions of the
dimwads are from evil motives, although (however well-intentioned)
they seem to screw things up MUCH more than they help. Some of them
may just be stupid. I, actually, have known some really nice,
otherwise intelligent, Democrats (notice the capital letter) and I am
just amazed at how they keep voting to destroy the country.
Well, gotta go take care of some pressing business (no, not ironing
clothes) so b-4 I go, I want to leave you with my top 3 most
ridiculous commercials.
1) (Just irritates the he77 out of me, so I turn it off anytime it
comes on.) A woman comes on and purports to be interviewing a
gentleman from Divine Power, a solar company, and she asks, “Do you
just only sell systems or do you only just rent them?” Not sure if I
have the wording perfect, but the redundancy is the problem. I DO like
the company name, but couldn’t do business with them, with this
representation.
2) (Not as annoying, but close. Haven’t heard it, lately, so maybe
someone got wise.) “If you want to buy your home and sell another…”
3) (And I like Ovaltine, but this is just DUMB!!!) “Ovaltine is
creamier, because you make it with MILK!!!” DUH!!! Tomato soup is
creamier, if you make it with MILK!!! How about, “Ovaltine is
creamier because we make it with real, powdered, (1 or 2) % milk
mixed in?”
So, all for now. Will try to disentangle the other class & get it in
ASAP (or if you are medical STAT) so keep your eye on this spot.

Heavenly Father, again we thank You for undeserved blessings. Please
(especially) watch over our guardians, wherever and however they serve
