In this season of thanks ...
we will begin, today, with a word of thanks. UNCOVER !!!

Heavenly Father, we come to you to thank you for all of the many blessings you bestow on us, totally without our merit.
We ask that you make us truly grateful for all you have given us. We ask you to help us in our efforts to be deserving and to help us to deal, with justice and mercy, with those who hate us.
We also ask that you grant wisdom and insight to those who are charged with protecting innocents from the predations of those who would do them harm and that you strengthen the arms of those who stand between the predators and their victims.
We ask that you grant us wisdom (as you have granted us the authority to rule over (ourselves) to choose, wisely, those to whom we (temporarily) delegate that authority and to make us ever mindful that while we can delegate authority, we cannot delegate responsibility, so it is our responsibility to make our delegates responsible to us and to you.
Help us to guide them or, if necessary, remove from them the power, if we find that it has corrupted them, or that we have chosen unwisely and they were corrupt.
Give us hearts that seek your path and let us never stray from it.
In all things I thank you and praise you and, especially, I thank you for the gift and sacrifice of your Son, Jesus Christ, in whose name I pray. Amen. COVER!!!

Now, you need to remember that there are no atheists in foxholes and that one of the most repulsive traits that can be found in humanity is ingratitude.
For anyone who says that they refuse to believe in God, because they can't see Him, I can only say, "Hold your breath, unless you live in L.A., or some other polluted place, because those are the only places where you can "see air" &, therefore believe in it."
Also, you really need to read "A Table in the Presence", by the Chaplain who went into Iraq, with the Marines and "Where Angels Walk" & "Where Miracles Happen" to see if you can "see the light".
So, be grateful for all of the beauty around you & for any opportunity to thank Him by protecting it and His children, who inhabit it.
I was out of the loop for several days & unable to communicate. If this reaches you b-4 Thanksgiving, REALLY give thanks. If not, Christmas is coming, so you have another chance.
Don't blow it. The COMMANDER in CHIEF of EVERYTHING is waiting to hear from YOU!!!
