Unanimous Declaration of Independence
(of the 13 colonies) Legal Document?
Take SEATS!!! Notebooks out! This will constitute (no pun intended) a
mission order.
I have been studying the question of the status of the Unanimous
Declaration, legal document or not, part of our Constitution or not.
I have formed the following opinions: By reading the document, I find
that it is a legal notice to Great Britain and the world that the 13
colonies had formed a sovereign nation. It was adopted by duly
appointed representatives and duly published.
It constituted a divorce and set out the response that would follow
any refusal to accept it as a legal divorce. I find no evidence that
the representatives acted outside their legal scope, as delegated to
them.
I find evidence that the Declaration has been cited, as legal
precedent, in court. This is appropriate, as it was the first legal
act of the new (yet not totally formed) government.
I find that the Unanimous Declaration is the BASIS for the Constitution.
I find that many "legal minds" mis-read and mis-use the Constitution
in a manner that would be made more difficult if they were forced to
read the Constitution in light of the Declaration.
I, therefore, find that there appears to be some nefarious intent
behind the diminished importance of the Unanimous Declaration and that
it is vital that it be restored to the position that I believe the
founders intended, that of the first volumn of a 2-volumn set.
Your assignment :
1) Read the Unanimous Declaration & the Constitution. Don't take my word for it. Do the research.
2) Observe the things that are being done by your employees (elected "representatives", "legislative", "judicial" and "executive"), under color of law.
3) If you find, as I have that the Unanimous Declaration is vital to the proper function of our government, insist that it be restored to its proper place, in our legal system.
"Gitt'er Done!"
