efforts of the Oacys computer pros, this old dog of a lap-top seems to
have new life to contribute to our never-ending fight for truth,
justice and the American way!!! Too bad superman went woke!!!

So far the cursor hasn't deviated nor the text disappeared, either of
which would have motivated me to become a cursER, using some of the
vocabulary from the earlier part of my misspent youth. If this keeps
up, the L'il Corporal may abandon her crusade to ditch it and expend
$$ to replace it & everyone knows that I would have been dragged
kicking and screaming to the point of any unnecessary expenditure. Now
I just have to re-mark the keys to correct someone's idea that
thin-lined letters make it more classy. BULL FROGS!!! (in the words of
1 of my mentors, when situations dictated a modification of his
extensive vocabulary) if I can't see it, how can I TYPE it???
Anyway,
enough about my return from enforced sabbatical & back to excoriating
the woke, the left and all other cesspool sludge, with "Extreme

I'm glad to see that there seems to be an awakening of an anti-woke
movement that is gaining strength, reversing a lot of the idiotic
practices and proposed "customs and societal norms" that should never
(in a sane society) have even been practiced, much less normalized.
Kudos to all of the brave individuals who resist the pressure from the
left so that civilized society can be restored. Things like "drag
queen story hours" in libraries should never been permitted, much less
"normalized".
Speaking of things that are abnormal, the "accommodations" at
bakersfield inn and suites definitely fall way below the level of what
Priceline offers the public. Among amenities offered, but not
delivered are telephones in rooms, breakfast and free wi-fi. Priceline
should remove them from their web site until these things are
corrected.
Even MORE egregious, I killed a total of approximately 36
assorted bugs, about 1/2 of which were roaches, installed an
electronic pest repeller and applied boric acid. This dump is
reminiscent of motHELL 6, in porterville, where the roaches would
fight you
for a crust of bread. These would not only do that but would (also)
play roachdeer games all over the room. What differentiates this dump
(which shall be dubbed, hereinafter, the roach motel from the
aforementioned motHELL 6) is that (so far) we have not missed any
property and the staff seems more personable.
Of course, this was only
our first day. On first look, it seems to be a nice place. Some
remodeling is in progress, but the old maxim about the book and its
cover DEFINITELY applies. FYI !!! Don't exceed 24 hours in a bad
situation w/priceline or they won't make it easy to transfer. They
did, ultimately, facilitate a move, after we made a new reservation at
the Motel 6 East. Pretty nice place & good staff.
Addendum to the roach motel:
Being an observant type, which has saved my 6 more than a few times, I
noticed some rather unusual traffic at one of the rooms. Maybe this
guy has a lot of friends but a more suspicious mind might infer the
possibility of some kind of commercial enterprise, having to do with
entertainment or pharmaceuticals.
Not accusing, just noticing. Either
way, hoping priceline will cancel this booking, for cause, and find us
a better "shelter from the storms". (Oops!! these were written out of
order & we're already out of there!) If anyone knows of such, please

By the way, I don't plug target, as they are woke, which is broke, no
joke. But I was looking for a hanging clothes rack (among the other
deficiencies, the "roach motel" had no hanging facilities) and, not
wanting to keep the "Li'l Corporal" waiting and being close to a
target and usually finding an electric cart there (sometimes more
often than Walmart) I checked it out. To my pleasant surprise, they
had almost exactly what I wanted, for under $10. If you have time
PLEASE check somewhere else but there it is. By the way. assembly is
required.
So, back to our scheduled class of educating the educable and trying
to penetrate the granite skulls of the woke and other intellectually
impaired unfortunates and trying to save the demoncrats.
