Mark Harmon's characters (Harmon in NCIS) I don't believe it is
a sign of weakness, to apologize. I'm just glad they put erasers on
pencils, because I make a LOT of mistakes.
I don't know how I messed up this class. Just hope I can fix it. I DO
apologize for the screw-up. Will try to avoid in future. Might have to
replace my "boat anchor" of a computer.

P.S. At some point I referred to "red state" criminals. Don't see it,
here. Maybe I (or the Ed. ) edited it, I may get confused, maybe
because of diminished mental capacity or because I've always
associated "red" with commie/socialism. If I get it wrong, please just
read it correctly, in light of this explanation.
As messed up as the republicans can get, I find the overwhelming
effort on the part of Republicans to be support and defense of our
rights and the Constitution that safeguards them.

Short of the second coming, we REALLY need a revival and for the
republicans to get their heads on straight & become Republicans, again
& get some self (and) constituent respect.
Short of THAT, we need our elected employees to quit wasting our money
on projects like the high-speed rail boondoggle and the
o(WHATTA)bummer DOESN'T care boondoggle and start doing something that
would benefit their employers, us (U.S.)
Two of the worst problems we face are the lack of water, in some parts
of the country and
the over-abundance in others.
While I'm not sure how to cure the flood problem, I can darn sure do
something about the
drought.
If the large rivers were equipped with large pumps, feeding into a
nation-wide pipeline, millions of acre-feet of water (especially in
flood season) could be captured, instead of flowing out to the ocean,
where they do no good for anyone.
We could start at the big rivers, with water powered pumps and, across
the country,
use solar or wind powered booster pumps.
When the water gets to a dry area, a tap could be opened and some of
the water could be drained off into the ground, in a reverse of how we
pump it out.
If we can pump oil (& I'm glad we can) there is no logical reason why
we can't pump water,
which is the life-blood of agriculture (and face it, Troops) our
bodies, from where it is in abundance (or over-abundance) to where is
DESPERATELY needed.
Except, that is, for the STOOPIDITY of the "what's in it for me"
crowd, who are (by definition) too STOOPID to live, literally! Instead
of doing something constructive, they just want to rip us off, for all
they can get.
This is one case in which re-distribution makes dollars AND sense!!!
I encourage all of my Troops to send this column (if you agree) to
your elected employees, along with your own comments.
If you DISagree, please tell me where my logic is faulty.
Now, before you tell me that I'm an idiot and that my idea will do
nothing to alleviate the current drought, let me tell you a few things
that (for anyone with 2 wits to rub together) will explain the "whys".
If you are only concerned with the current drought, then you probably
have no savings or insurance, as these things are not going to do you
any good, TODAY!!! Re-hydrating the aquifers is a means of "banking"
water, to avoid FUTURE droughts.
If you don't understand this concept, you need to just light up
another joint & get your fiddle, like the grasshopper, and get out of
the way of the ants, who make the world work.
If your "thought" (?) is that you can't pump enough water to make a
difference, then you are ALL WET!!!
We get our water from the overflow of our neighbor's tank that is fed
by a line from a "spring box", where the water seeps out of the
mountain, mostly just as a stain on the ground and all of these stains
are collected by the spring box and allowed to trickle into a pipe
that goes down the hill, into his tank.
When his tank is full, it overflows into a small "stock tank" which is
there in the hope that animals will drink from it (rather than destroy
the pvc pipe) when they are thirsty.
When the stock tank is full, a float valve bypasses the tank and
diverts the flow into a pipe that comes down the hill and into OUR
tank.
The flow varies, depending on the rainfall and how much vegetable
matter collects on the surface of the drainage, preventing the water
from reaching the spring box, before it evaporates.
Sometimes there is just a bare trickle going into the pipe, but I have
seen that bare trickle fill his 1,000 gal. tank and our 350 gal. tank
in a very short time. The reason is that it is trickling 24/7.
When I, finally, patched all of the leaks, in our line, and got the
flow re-established, the level rose perceptibly, in about an hour and
should be close to OUR overflow by now.
The volume of water is no more (at this time) than could be passed
thru a medium-sized drinking straw. Not much, you say? No, it isn't
but with every tick of the clock is just keeps trickling.
The same principle would apply to water pumped from large rivers, by
environmentally beneficial water-powered pumps and solar and
wind-powered pumps. 24/7, they would continue pumping life-giving
water from where it isn't needed, to where it is.
The last thought (for those shortsighted people who would say that it
was a waste of time & $$ to do this) is a 2-parter.
No one with 1/2 of a wit can dispute the old saying that, "It is far
better to light a single candle, than to curse the dark."
If you simply complain about your situation and do nothing about it,
you are a fool. If you do ANYTHING constructive, to alleviate the
situation (without worsening it, as the gun-grabbers are trying to do,
in the false name of "crime control") then you can hold up your head,
with a GENUINE sense of accomplishment and say, "Yes, mr.
o(WHATTA)bummer, I DID DO THIS!!!"
While we are on the subject of what we REALLY need, it's time to stop
expecting the cesspool sludge in washington, the district of criminals
and all of the smaller crime cabals in the states to police
themselves. The cat will only guard the cream AFTER it has drunk it
and we have a lot of cats who are drunk on a lot of OUR cream.
We REALLY need a citizen oversight court to impeach the cesspool
sludge who are committing treasonous acts of war against us (U.S.).
The senate should have convicted beelzabubba klintski, but they were
all involved in an incestuous relationship of mutual gluteus maximus
kissing and supported him, rather the Constitution to which they took
their perjured oaths.

Heavenly Father I ask for enlightenment, for those who will listen and
Your grace to find a way to by-pass those who won't. With Your help,
we can move mountains and some of those whom we need to by-pass have
become, physically, large (on the dollars they have stolen from us)
while their intellects have stagnated or shrunk, so we need Your help
to go around, over them or move them. In all things I thank and praise
You and, especially, I thank You for the Gift and Sacrifice of Your
Son, my Lord and Savior
