Stand at EASE!!! This is a quick heads-up about the Tea Party. As
mentioned, elsewhere, it is planned for 10 Apr. Current logistics
intel indicates an assembly time of approx. 1200hrs, at the Rotary
Stage, Porterville Fairgrounds. Any changes are TBA (to be announced)
as decided. I would like to see a large turn-out of my Troops.
Work-schedules & family & other obligations permitting, put it on your
calendar. The "Little Corporal" & I have been recruited & will
probably be on-stage early, as we have a commitment to the Rotary of
Porterville Annual Spring Ball, at the Veteran's Hall, that evening.
When the "Little Corporal" sings, you'll get an idea of why they let
me hang around. They can't get her w/out me.
More to come on both events, later, but please note: The Committee is
seeking Vets who would have graduated from Porterville High, had they
not joined up. They are eligible for a High School Diploma, courtesy
of Dr. John Snavely & the Porterville School District, to be presented
at the ball.
Dress is what you would wear to look your best on Sunday, at a
Fabulous Studio Band concert (in an auditorium), to meet people you
want to impress , or formal. Not required, but if you got it, strut
it! Military uniforms (if they fit, don't want anyone unable to
breathe) are welcome. Active & Reserve may need authorization &, if
you need verification of the event, contact me thru the Post. We are
on the committee.
Got all that? O.K. Hadn't intended to rattle on like that.
God bless y'all & especially our Troops in harm's way & their families
& God bless America!!!
Dis-MISSED!!! Sgt.Mack, out, leaving the air & closing station.
