The Road to Rediscovering America’s Identity - Part VII
When Did We Start Trusting “Experts” Over Ourselves?

There was a time when Americans trusted their own judgment. When common sense wasn’t controversial.

When people didn’t need a bureaucrat in a suit to tell them what to think, what to eat, or how to live.

Today? We’ve outsourced thinking to “experts.”

But what happens when the experts are wrong?

The Rise of the Expert Class: A Power Grab

Step 1: Convince the public that only credentialed “experts” are qualified to think about big issues.

Step 2: Control the expert class so that they always push the same narrative.

Step 3: Label dissenters as conspiracy theorists, anti-science, or dangerous.

This is how the government, media, and universities turned independent thinkers into obedient followers.

This is How They Do It

1️. “Experts” Are Just Government Mouthpieces – Have you noticed that the people in charge of “public health,” “climate science,” and “economic policy” always push more government control as the solution? They told you lockdowns were for your safety. They told you inflation was “transitory.” They told you climate change requires banning gas stoves. Funny how the answer is always less freedom and more government intervention.

2️. The Death of Real Debate – Science used to be about questioning things. Now? If you challenge an “expert,” you’re labeled “anti-science.” Question vaccine mandates? You’re dangerous. Question climate policies? You’re a denier. Question election security? You’re a domestic threat. When debate is outlawed, propaganda replaces truth.

3️. The Credential Scam – Modern “expert” are credentialed, but not competent. Academia is filled with PhDs who have never worked in the real world. Bureaucrats in Washington wouldn’t survive running a business for a week. Yet these people are dictating policies that destroy livelihoods.

The Experts Told Lies: And You Bought It

When Experts Fail, You Pay the Price

- The experts told you printing money wouldn’t cause inflation. (It did.)

- The experts told you lockdowns would save lives. (They destroyed small businesses instead.)

- The experts told you carbs were healthy and fat was dangerous. (And now we have an obesity crisis.)

Here's The Question You Should Be Asking

How Do We Fix It?

+ Trust common sense over credentials. If something doesn’t make sense, question it.
+ Stop outsourcing responsibility. The government isn’t coming to save you. You must make your own choices.
+ Challenge bad ideas, no matter who they come from. Truth isn’t determined by authority—it’s determined by reality.

The “experts” are often wrong ... but
Their mistakes always cost you more freedom.

What you are not changing, you are choosing.
